Hi there and welcome to our blog! We are a group of girls that are friends. We make crocheted items and crafts to raise money for Project Hope Worldwide. Project Hope Worldwide is a non-profit organization based out of Owasso, OK, that has built an orphanage in Lira, Uganda.

We typically sell our items at annual sales such as the Kid's Day at the Owasso Farmer's Market, the Owasso Chili Festival, and the Haley Palmer Craft Fair; however, we take special orders, too.

In order for our profits to go directly to Project Hope Worldwide, we appreciate monetary donations and craft supplies including yarn, beads, dominoes, patterned scrapbook paper, decorative duck tape, Mod Podge, magnets, and crochet hooks. If you would like to make a donation, you can mail it to this address:

Christmas News Letter From Calo Me Lare

Greetings Friends!! We’ve been back in Lira for 2 months now after a great time of rest and sharing in the US. It was fantastic to see so many of you there , and we’re blessed and excited about your interest in what’s happening at Calo Me Lare! We’ve been behind with our newsletters but not due to any lack of news. We were only home for a week before the arrival of another great group of people from Discovery Bible Fellowship (Oklahoma) who shared the gospel in our village and delighted our children with Vacation Bible School. Right on the heels of that, we began the process of bringing in our next group of kids to fill the new homes. Since we returned we’ve added 22 new kids to our family, and here they are! We have 47 now, double the love. They’re adjusting well and the place is practically bristling in anticipation of Christmas. The school term is over for the year and will resume in February, so the kids are having more playtime, crafts, and VBS curriculum these days. We had our first school graduation ceremony recently with 6 students moving from Nursery to Primary School. Nearly all the students performed well enough to progress to the next grade level, and those few who aren’t quite there yet are getting some tutoring during the break. The church, which opened just before we left for the US, is growing steadily with some 200 people joining us for worship. We are amazed at what God has done with this project in so short a time, and see His hallmark trait of accomplishing that which would not be possible without His hand on it, moving hearts towards it. Your hearts! Thank you for loving, and giving, so that we are able to redeem the lives of these little ones to a life of HOPE. Thank you for your continued prayers for us, the team here, and the kids!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!!

Love and Peace,

Andy & Cami Flege, Lira Uganda
